The institution was founded by great visionary Late Karmavir Bhausaheb Hiray, the first Revenue Minister of Maharashtra and a guiding spirit in the co- operative sector, with the motto 'Bahujan Hitay, Bahujan Sukhay'. His Dreams have been fulfilled by his next worthy generations Loknete Late Vyankatraoji Hiray, Smt. Pushpatai Hiray, Hon. Prashantdada Hiray, the General Secretary, Hon. Apurvabhau Hiray & Hon. Advay Aba Hiray. Presently, the institution runs KG to PG, Pharmacy college, Dental College, D. Ed.,B.Ed., Hotel Management and other professional institutes in Nasik District., The College is located on the bank of river Mosam is famous for Historical,Political,Agriculture and Educational point of view . The Nampur has its own historical importance, few kilometers away from this village there is a famous fort called Salher-Mulher,where Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had stayed for some days. To the south there is holy place called Mangitungi of Jain peoples which is the second holy place in India for Jain peoples and also there is a Darga of Malik Baba and again it is holy place for Nagpanthi Dawal.
