Located in S.M.R.K.B.K. A.K. Mahila Mahavidyalaya is one of the proud family member of Gokhale Education Society, which was established on 18th February 1918, by principal T.A. Kulkarni. G. E. Society is catering to the needs of one lakh pupil through it's 15 centres and 75 institutions in 4 different zones., College is permanataly affiliated to S.N.D.T. Women's University, Mumbai which was established in the year 1916 by Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve and has received a Five Stars status by National Assessment and accreditation Council (NAAC) of India at Banglore., Our college is the pioneering Women's College in North Maharashtra, established in 1985., It has completed 24 years of it's meaningful survival., Estd. on 28th June 1985 our college has completed its silver jubilee year & has now entered 26th year of its meaningful existence. Our college being managed by and belongs to Gokhale Education society which was established by Prin. T.A. Kulkarni in 1918.This society has sprung with 100 educational institute with more than 1 Lac students.In nashik zone, we have 10 college on the 48 area of sprawling ground symbiotic relationship. More than 100 PhD s & 100 MPhils. Teachers are the staff everyday 25000 students come to our Gokhale Education Campus for education. We have 1,500 students strength with 100 teaching faculties.
