Located in Rajendra Mane College of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 1998 as a degree engineering college to cater the technical education to the entire nation. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Mumbai University., Sanstha is running in its 21th year, a degree engineering college at Ambav Devrukh approved by AICTE, New Delhi, recognised by Directorate of Tech. Education, Maharashtra and affiliated to Mumbai University since 1998 running in its 21th year. RMCET is located on 46.25 acres of land at village Ambav, about 7 Km. from Devrukh city. The campus includes Administrative, Instructional Area, Work Shop, Laboratories, Library and Residential buildings etc. area admeasuring 20461 Sq.mtrs. This College is a fully developed residential engineering college. At present there are over 1200 students studying in the following four branches viz. Computer, Electronics & Telecommunication, Automobile, and Mechanical Engineering. This college is also have one post graduation course in management i.e. MBA/MMS.This college has earned a reputation as being among the best colleges in Konkan Region.RMCET has well equipped Laboratories, Computer Departments, Workshop and Library to impart best technical education to the students. RMCET has qualified staff strength of 65 Teaching Faculty and 80 Non-Teaching employees. The employees are paid salary as per the pay scale approved by UGC / AICTE and the D.A is paid as prescribed by State Govt. from time to time.
