Psychology graduates can play a crucial role in the study of human behavior and thought processes. The BA (Hons) Psychology Program offered at MIT-WPU is unique in many ways. It is a combination of core and elective psychology courses. Some of the unique courses offered are Sports Psychology, Health Psychology, Cross-cultural Psychology, Youth, Gender & Identity which set this Program apart from others. Students are exposed to traditional theories and concepts as well as contemporary research, skills, and practices. This intensive and inquisitive nature equips students with a practical orientation and creative approach to behavioral sciences. Internship and research project/ dissertation make BA (Hons) Psychology program unique.
Career Prospects
After graduating, students from this program can specialize in various fields of psychology at the Master's degree and become Industrial Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Career and Marriage Counsellors and work in Human Resource Management. A vast array of psychological fields such as clinical, health, sports, forensic, industrial and many other branches of applied psychology can be explored by students opting for thisprogram. Students also become well – equipped to conduct research independently.
Selection Process
The admission process for BA(Hons) Programs is entirely based on Merit List, which is prepared on the basis of 12/ HSC/
Equivalent Exam aggregate marks. The Merit List will be declared on the official website of MIT World Peace University
