Since then the dedicated lecturers and non-teaching staff with a little salary have consecrated their precious time and valuable energy to make this institution an ideal. But, due to lack of funds, it lags behind in many respects. However, within a small campus, it has performed admiringly. Now,the College having Hons. in History, Pol.Sc. Education, Sans. Eng Newly Opened is marching ahead., It is worthwhile to mention here that the College though lags behind in infrastructure not back in transmission of knowledge. with hard and compete dedication of teachers, the student are doing well in their lessons and results of university Examinations is extremely gond,it is a matter of joyous that the College has been able to occupy a distinction in the map of F.M.university in the field of N s s and Red cross. Under auspices of NSS and supervision of red cross Unit, regular Blood Donation camp is being organized. Apart, Awaren:ess in different fields especially in AIDS has been created in the adjacent area of Balikhand., It is notable that the Govt of odisha have been pleased to accord permission, for onenins of Commerce strearn from the session 2013-14, admission of which has begun in the session 2014-15. To keep the village students abreast with the uptodate knowledge, steps are being taken from the session 2013-14., The college has been declared as aided Educational institution in the aftermath of publication of GIA Order 2008. Trial is on for making it an ideal institution with help of UGC. it has planned for a better future by proving coaching for different competitive examinations to h:e trdents for enhancement of their confidence level in the field of employment.In a nutshell, the College has become a lamp of culture and a knowledge centre for the rural bredd students.'
