The dream turned into reality when the S.S.D College of Sc. and Technology took its birth on 29th September, 1980.., Being permanently affiliated to CHSE, Odisha and Utkal University, this college received its first G.I.A from the Govt. of Odisha in 1985 and the Govt, has been appointing principals since 1989. In its mission and vision, the college is committed for the all-round development of the students by providing adequate opportunities to achieve excellence through academics, games and sports and other cultural activities at district and state level. Further N.S.S. & Y.R.C wings +2 & + 3 of the college intend to foster among the students, a sense of discipline, manners humanity and humility. Social responsibility would make them responsive to the situational needs., Through it is a perilous march from a state of nothingness to a sense of fulfillment, yet much more need to be done to achieve a niche in the domain of academics.
