R.C.M. Science College is situated in Orissa. The R.C.M. Science College was started and now in a good condition also. The R.C.M. Science College have the hostel facilities and all other infrastructures. R.C.M. Science College, R.C.M. Science College provide Bachelor degree courses. R.C.M. Science College is pioneer one. R.C.M. Science College provides good faculties and the R.C.M. Science College also provides good infrastructural facilities also. R.C.M. Science College have advanced library facility. R.C.M. Science College also have better computer labs.

Situated close to the world famous pictureque chilika lake and surrouned by green mountain peaks,khallikote offers a grand view of natural beauty.Through a small town,it is well connected by rail and road. In 1949,the absence of a college in this area was deeply felt.The dream took a tangible shape on 26th jan 1960 in a public meeting.Finally,a college committee was formed by the local people under the leadership of late Rajbahadur Rama Chandra Maharaj Deo,the then M.L.A of khallikote.while effort for establishment of college were going on,thr Rajasaheb breathed his last.Hence,another Managing Committee was formed under the presidentship of Mrs.Sugnana Kumari Deo,the Ranisaheba of khallikote.Late Pandit Baikolli Mahapatra and Late Trinath Samantra were the vice-president and the Secretary of the college Managing Committee respectively.

The First inspection committee for the establishment of the college,visited khallikote on 5th April 64 and recommended for the same.Initialy,the college started functioning in the Dewan Bunglow from 1st july 64 and later,it was shifted to the present building at Nirmaljhar in 1968.The college was named after the benevolent king of Khallikote Rajabahadur Rama Chandra Mardaraj Deo,to whose visison and munificence this college owes its existence.The tewlve acres of land,a panoramic spot at Nirmalijhar was donated by Late Rajmata Chandrapriya Devi. In the beginning ,the College was affiliated to Utkal University.After the establishment of Berhampur University in 1967,the college was reaffiliated to it.This become a full-fledged degree college in Arts/Science/Commerce streams in due course of time with facilities for Honours teaching..Since 2016 the new CBCS pattern courses has been introduced as according to the direections of the Government of Odisha and Berhampur University. Chandrapriya Womens Hostel of the college provides hostel facilities to girls. The college was accrediate by NAAC in 2006 and for Cycle-II in 2015.in both the cases this college was awared Grade-B.
