PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh Department of Production Engineering The department of Production Engineering is offering 4 years B.E. Degree program since 1967 with an intake of 30 students. In addition the department is presently offering a regular inter-disciplinary M.E. program in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) since 2001 with the present intake of 25 students. The department has facilities for taking up Ph.D. research projects and industrial consultancy in the areas of Machining and Forming Technologies, Dimensional Measurement Testing and calibration, Plant Layout and Material handling, Tool and Die Design, CNC Machines and Robotics, Total Quality management, Total Productive Maintenance, Work design and Ergonomics and Value Engineering.
