Women’s Polytechnic College, Puducherry, approved by AICTE All India Council for Technical Education is to offer 3 year full- time Diploma Programmes in Engineering, Non-Engineering and Technology to post-matric women candidates of Union Territory of Puducherry, selected according to the norms prescribed by Government of Puducherry, using the Curriculum and Evaluation system laid down by DOTE (Directorate of Technical Education), Tamil Nadu to meet the needs of Industry and Community. The Institution functions under PIPMATE Pondicherry Institute of Post Matric Technical Education, a registered society fully sponsored by the Government of Puducherry and complies with all the Government rules and regulations. It has the responsibility to uplift the community by offering training, consultancy and other related services.
