GTBKIET was founded in 1997 by “GTB Educational Trust Malout” . All the courses of the institute are approved by AICTE Delhi Govt of India. Department of the Technical Education and are affiliated to Punjab Technical University Jalandhar. In the span of fourteen years the institute has developed into a leading engineering and professional college of the region with state of the art infrastructure faculty and facilities

GTBKIET is one of the institution aimed to function as a pace setter for technical education in the country and to faster national integration. Nestled amidst green, pollution free environment, the institute is located about 350 Km North West of Delhi and about 50 Km from Bathinda on the outskirts of Malout-Ganganagar route overlooking the great grand trunk road. The campus is spread over an area of 60 acres of land comprising of various architecturally well planned and aesthetically designed blocks.

Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa Institute of Engineering and Technology aims at providing quality education to the students so that they can learn enormous things to face the challenges of todays world. Education today is no longer confined to the four walls of the classroom. Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa Institute of Engineering and Technology is situated in Malout in Punjab state of India. it is accredited from Government of Punjab, NAAC, AICTE and it is affiliated to Punjab Technical University. GTBKIET MALOUT, Malout offers 19 courses across 6 streams namely Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, IT, Agriculture, Hotel Management and across 7 degrees like B.Tech, BSc, BCA, MSc, MTech. Hostel facility is not available for its students. Additional campus facilities such as A/C, AV Lab, Auditorium, Boys Hostel, Canteen, Computer Lab, Convo. Hall, Fest, Education Festival, Girls Hostel are also there.
