Bhai Gurdas Institute of Engineering & Technology was established in 2002 under the aegis of Bhai Gurdas Technical Education Trust. Since its inception the institute has been imparting goal- oriented, quality - based and value-added education through state-of-the-art technical & non-technical resources at par with international standards. With the each passing year BGIET has evolved as a symbol of quality education dedicated to nurture the talent and aspiration of the dynamic, vibrant & bright youth of our country by providing wholesome learning opportunities and student centered approach incorporating both the traditional and the modern ethos.

Bhai Gurdas Institute of Engineering and Technology, committed to the cause of skilled and quality education at par with Global Standards, appeared on the academic front in 2002. Bhai Gurdas Group has the credit of establishing the first private engineering college in Punjab. The Group has successfully been running seventeen institutions in various districts of Punjab. Bhai Gurdas Group has been established with the objective of providing high-quality education in Engineering, Technology, Management, and medical sciences. This year the group has introduced one more institute of Technology. This is an IKG. Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala. affiliated and AICTE approved institution.
