The aim of the college is to produce enlightened and potential students. The college thrives on a unique blend of retaining traditional values and incorporating technological advancements as well as creating a consciousness about the rights and duties towards the motherland, which have fully been internalized by the faculty and the stakeholders - the students.

The College is highly reputed for its superior academic programmes, cultural and moral sensitivity, dedicated faculty and achievements of the students. During its five year of history it has a class of its own and made its distinctive entity in the different fields like - academic, cultural and sports. Our students involve themselves in various social welfare programmes like Blood Donation, Drug-de-addiction, AIDS awareness, Pulse Polio Campaign and service to the blind, etc. The atmosphere in the campus is cordial and friendly where students receive encouragement and support from lectures and classmates. Our Credibility, Infrastructure and Student support facilities available in the college have enabled us to stand on the top slot in the region. Our students continue to stand at the top positions in studies as well as co-curricular activities and events of University.

The college enjoys its enviable position because of effective teaching-learning and evaluation processes. Students knowledge, skills and attendance in class are regularly monitored. All departments of the college have a success rate of more than 90% in the university exams. A system of continuous assessment of students has been introduced. Besides these we also introduce the system of feedback from students regarding faculty and infrastructure.

We have well-furnished buildings with spacious classrooms, sprawling lawns, a beautiful seminar complex with audio visual aids, one auditoriums, sophisticated labs, and vast playgrounds. Besides this, we have a canteen house. Along with an introductory course in computers, a compulsory personality and career development programme has been launched named ‘Better Way’. This would train our students in the aspects of modern deportment-from helping them prepare their resumes to appearing before the interview boards, and teaching them the latest communication techniques.

The college lays special emphasis on the maintenance of discipline and proper decorum in and outside the classroom. In order to create the right academic atmosphere in the college, the students should maintain silence while moving on the campus and sitting in the Library. Ragging and smoking are prohibited on the campus. Students who violate the above rules shall be liable to punishment which may be in the form of a heavy fine, withdrawal of concessions and stipends and in extreme cases, expulsion from the college.
