Scholarship Details

Haryana State Council for Science and Technology (HSCST) is offering research fellowships for full-time research work leading to Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject areas from any of the Institute/University in Haryana in following Science subjects

Science subjects: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Earth Atmosphere Ocean & Planetary Sciences

Eligibility

=> The candidates must have M.Sc or equivalent degree in relevant subjects in the above broad subject areas, with minimum 55% marks; and should have opted for CSIR JRF (NET) and were able to qualify eligibility test for Lectureship-NET in joint CSIR-UGC Test for JRF and LS (NET)
Candidates availing fellowships / financial assistance from any other source will not be eligible

=> The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years as on 01st January 2014 which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes, Women, Physically Handicapped and OBC applicants

Scholarship Amount

Stipend of Fellowship Program: Rs 12,000/- p.m. for a period of first 2 years as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Rs 14,000/- p.m. as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the 3rd and subsequent years subject to terms and conditions along with annual contingent grant of Rs 20,000/- to the University/Institute

Interested candidates are requested to apply in the prescribed Proforma along with attested copy of the certificate in support of age and eligibility at the office address given below. The envelope containing the Application Form should be superscribed “HSCST Fellowship”
