BSMEB is a state-level madrasa education board in India, known as the Bihar State Madrasa Education Board (BSMEB). The BSMEB oversees all schooling, teaching, and examinations in madrasa schools across Bihar. Education is provided from Class 1 to 5 (Tahtania), equivalent to Primary School or Lower Middle School; Class 6 to 8 (Wastania), equivalent to Middle School; Class 9 to 10 (Fauquania), equivalent to Matriculation (Matric); and Class 11 to 12 (Moulvi), equivalent to Intermediate or 10+2.
