How to Download CBSE Syllabus Class 10?
Students can download the CBSE term 2 class 10th Syllabus from the above mentioned links or download it via the official website. To download the term 2 syllabus from the official website by following the steps mentioned below.
- Go to the official CBSE website by searching on Google.
- On the homepage, students can find a link for “Academic website”. Click on it.
- Students will be then directed to the academic section of CBSE website. Coming to the homepage, locate the “Curriculum Section”.
- Under this, there will be a link for “CBSE Syllabi”. This will shoe syllabi for various classes. Select “CBSE Class 10th Curriculum 2022-23”.
- The entire CBSE Class 10th Curriculum 2022-23 will be displayed on screen and available for students to view.
CBSE Class 10 Exam Pattern
CBSE class 10th curriculum is divided into 2 separate terms. For term 1, the exam will be an objective based and for term 2, the examination will be subjective based. To know further details, see section below.
- Exam will be a subjective based test.
- Total marks allotted are 40.
- Students will get a total of 120 minutes to solve the test.
- Types of questions: Fill in the blanks, Short Answer type, Long answer type.
Importance of Knowing CBSE 10th Syllabus
Knowing syllabus allows students to develop a systematic approach to handle the entire exam preparation. Syllabus is one of the first things released, hence students can get a head start in their preparation by studying the topics which are mentioned with higher priority or higher weightage first.

About CBSE
A trail of developments mark the significant changes that took place over the years in shaping up the Board to its present status. U P Board of High School and Intermediate Education was the first Board set up in 1921. It has under its jurisdiction Rajputana, Central India and Gwalior. In response to the representation made by the Government of United Provinces, the then Government of India suggested to set up a joint Board in 1929 for all the areas which was named as the ‘Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Rajputana’. This included Ajmer, Merwara, Central India and Gwalior.
