The Mizoram Board of School Education is an autonomous organization that works at the state level. It is a government body and works under the Mizoram state government. The board was formed in 1975 years. It is well known as MBSE. The headquarter of the board is situated in Aizwal, Mizoram, India. The official languages of the board are English and Mizo. The board has the power to regulate, supervise and control school education in Mizoram. MBSE is responsible to prepare the academic programmes and organising examinations.
Mizoram Board (MBSE)
The Mizoram Board manages the educational activities of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC). The board is responsible to provide the syllabus to the affiliated schools. The board conducts the exams for the students of classes 10 and 12. For those students, the board releases the timetable, conducts the examinations and after that, it also declares the result for the same. Other than this, the board also conducts State Technical Entrance Examination (STEE) From 2012. The entrance exam is for admission in technical courses such as engineering, medical, pharmacy, nursing, dentistry, and homoeopathy.

Mizoram Board Time Table
The candidates who study from Mizoram Board get the timetable in the month of December. The link to the timetable uses to be available online on the official website of MBSE. The timetable contains all the necessary information related to the board exams. The link to the timetable uses to be available under the section “Notifications”.
The candidates get various details on the timetable. Among that information, the students obtain the board’s name, class name, subject code, subject name, the dates of the exams, exam day, time slots for the exams etc.
Mizoram Board Class 10 and 12 Admit Card
For the students of secondary and senior secondary, the MBSE Board releases the admit card in the month of February. Candidates obtain the admit card online on the official website. The students can also collect the MBSE Admit Card from their respective schools.
The admit card contains all the important details related to the exams as well as related to the students. There used to be various information about the exams and the students. So, the candidates obtain the details such as the board’s details, the name of the candidates, date of birth, parents’ name, roll number, registration number, enrollment number, exam date, exam day, the timings of the exams, reporting time etc.
Students are required to carry a physical copy of admit card to the examination hall. Without admit card students will not be allowed to write exams.
Mizoram Board Class 10 and 12 Result
After the completion of the exams, the Mizoram board declares the result for both classes. For class 10 board exams, the MBSE board announces the result in the month of June. For class 12, the board declares the result separately for different streams. It releases the result for Science and Commerce combined while for Arts, the separate result uses to be announced. To check the result, the candidates need to submit the roll number.
The result contains the name of the school, school code, the name of students, roll number, registration number, date of birth, subject code, subject name, marks in the individual subjects, totally obtained marks, the status of the result, and some other useful information.
Mizoram Board Supplementary Exams
The candidates who will not get passing marks will be able to appear for the supplementary exams. The board provides a second opportunity for the students to pass the exams. MBSE conducts supplementary exams in the months of August and September.
