The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is the governing body responsible for overseeing the education system in the state of Punjab, India. The board is responsible for developing and implementing educational policies, as well as designing and conducting the annual secondary and higher secondary school examinations.
The PSEB is responsible for the syllabus, textbook preparation, and conduct of secondary school examinations. It also prepares the academic schedule, conducts the examination, and declares the results. PSEB also takes care of teacher recruitment and teacher training as well as provides affiliation to the private schools within the state of Punjab.
The board conducts the annual secondary and higher secondary school examinations for students studying in schools affiliated with the PSEB. The board also releases the date sheet and the results of the examinations on its official website.
PSEB also conducts vocational and technical education to the students, it provides education in various fields such as Agriculture, Medical, Non-Medical, Arts and Sports etc.

PSEB Class 10th and 12th Date Sheet
The candidates who study from the Punjab Board get the timetable in the month of December. The link of the timetable uses to be available online on the official website of PSEB i.e. pseb.ac.in. The timetable contains all the necessary information related to the board exams.
Punjab Board Class 10 and 12 Admit Card
For the students of secondary and senior secondary, the PSEB Board releases the admit card in the month of February. Candidates obtain the admit card online on the official website. To get it from pseb.ac.in, the candidates need to use their roll number. The students can also collect the PSEB Admit Card from their respective schools.
The Admit card is the most important document that needs to be carried on every exam day. The admit card contains all the important details related to the exams as well as related to the students. Students are required to carry a physical copy of admit card to the examination hall. Without admit, cards students will not be allowed to write exams.

Punjab Board Class 10 and 12 Result
After the completion of the exams, the Punjab board declares the result for both classes. For class 10 board exams, the PSEB board announces the result in the month of June. For class 12, the board declares the result separately for different streams. It releases the result for Science and Commerce combined while for Arts, the separate result uses to be announced. To check the result, the candidates need to submit the roll number.
PSEB Revaluation/ Rechecking Process
After the declaration of the result of the main examinations Punjab board also provides an option to the students for revaluation and rechecking. So, here we are. If any student wants to recalculate the marks obtained then he or she can go through the revaluation process. However, if any student wants to recheck the complete answer copy then he/ she can go for the rechecking process. By the month of June, the board receives the revaluation and rechecking applications and then by the month of August PSEB comes up with the final result.
