All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) was conducted on January 06, 2019 has been cancelled for class VI Paper I exam centers of due to certain administrative reasons. The examination will be conducted again on February 24, 2019. Admissions in Sainik School Satara are meant for boys only. The entrance examination will be held as per the schedule. Selection will be made on the basis of Written Examination, Interview & Medical Examination.Sainik School Satara Admission 2019 will be done on the basis of All India Sainik Schools Entrance (AISSEE) Examination.

Eligibility Criteria
Class VI: Boys born between 01 Apr 2007 to 31 Mar 2009 ( both days inclusive).
Class IX:
Boys born between 01 Apr 2004 to 31 Mar 2006 (both days inclusive). The
boys should be studying in Class VIII in a recognized school.
Reservation
SC 15%, ST 7 1⁄2 %. Out of the remaining, 67% of the seats are for boys from the state of Maharashtra and the balance is open to boys from Other States and Union Territories in the ratio of their male population. 25% of the seats are reserved for children of service personnel including ex-servicemen.
