Swami Dayananda Saraswati Educational Society is an NGO located in Manjakkudi, a small village on the banks of the river Cauveri in Tamil Nadu. The main occupation of the villagers is farming / agriculture, largely rice cultivators or workers, most of them living below the poverty line.
Swami Dayananda Saraswati Educational Society recognizes the important role education can play in the eradication of poverty . We believe in providing the right kind of education. We interpret this in a very wide sense - education would mean not just learning to pass a grade but also learning to live a fulfilling life, while meaningfully contributing to society around us
