Clinical Psychology is the branch of psychology concerned with the assessment and treatment of mental illness, abnormal behavior and psychiatric problems. This field puts together the science of psychology and the treatment of complex human problems.
The SGT University established the Department of Clinical Psychology in the Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciencess in August 2014 offer graduate programme, namely B.Sc. (Clinical Psychology). The Department culminated into an independent Faculty of Behavioural Health Sciencess with the objective of offering other higher education programmes.
In pursuance of its objective, the University has decided to two more programmes in Clinical Psychology.
