Shobhit University, Meerut Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences School of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established as an integral part of Shobhit University to meet the requirements of technically qualified personnel for research & development, academia, regulatory affairs and administration in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. To support and realize the objectives & goals the School provides aesthetically furnished class rooms, well equipped laboratories, library and other allied facilities. Objective To impart quality education and training facilities in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. To become a center of excellence in pharmaceutical education. To encourage and pursue utility based research in emerging areas of Pharmaceutical Sciences and assist in the better human healthcare. To collaborate with Pharmaceutical industries and organizations for R & D activities. The Mission Western Uttar Pradesh in Northern India is still an industrially & educationally backward region though there are a large number of educational institutes. Since in general the institutions are lacking research orientation, a need was felt by the University as a social obligation to commence professional, job and research oriented programs, so that the youth of this region could get suitable opportunities of employment or self employment. Region enriched with technically qualified manpower shall attract business houses to establish industrial units and contribute to its economic growth. The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences seeks to promote and popularize the professional education in the area of Pharmacy, especially in the Western UP.
