A Mechanical Engineer takes a product from an idea to the marketplace. To accomplish this he/she requires diverse knowledge on material selection; designing knowledge so that the product performs its function without failure; suitable manufacturing processes which can make the product with desired quality; the effect of forces and thermal environment on product with its subsystem.
