SRM University, Kattankulathur The Department of Computer Applications at SRM Universityhas been imparting instruction in computer applications with the most modern curriculum and syllabus to students of the post graduate course since 1994. It has succeeded in creating its own place of excellence among its counterparts in Tamil Nadu and India. In fact, the department has been attracting bright students from all parts of the country for quality education in computer applications at the post graduate level. Courses Offered : => Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Research & Consultancy : => Bio-Statistics => Spatial Modeling => Simulation and Statistical Modeling => Image Processing => Data Mining Careers : There has been as increasing trend in the number of students getting placed in National and International software companies and in top corporate bodies during the recent past. During 2006-2007, more than 100 students were selected to serve in CTS, HCL, Wipro, Polaris, Virtusa, US Teach etc through campus recruitment drive. Infrastructure : The computer laboratory of the department is well equipped with many modern facilities. The department has 7 laboratories with 240 systems with high configuration. All the laboratories are well connected with three advanced high configuration services. The laboratories are well connected with internet facilities too. Laboratory working hours are from 8.30 AM to 4.30 PM.
