Eligibility :
The Heidelberg University Doctoral Scholarship 2014 eligibility criteria are:
* Applicants must hold an M.A. or equivalent in one of the disciplines of the Humanities or Social Sciences with an above-average grade.
* Applicants must send a transcript that indicates at least four years of study at the university level.
* Applicants must have an excellent knowledge of English or German, along with another language.
* Applicants can acquire or improve their knowledge of German during the first year of the programme.
* Applicants must contact a potential supervisor in Heidelberg in order to discuss their research plans and to obtain the supervision agreement.
* Successful candidates must present their projects to the Heidelberg University Doctoral Scholarship 2014 Selection Committee at an interview which is conducted either in Heidelberg or via Skype in mid-May 2014.
