The Newcastle University, United Kingdom, invites applications for scholarship to PhD in Environmental Archaeology.

Eligibility
A high 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, or equivalent, in archaeology or a related subject area.
A Masters degree (merit or distinction) in a relevant subject area to be completed before starting the PhD. Experience in environmental archaeology, palynology and related methodologies.
Knowledge of Italian. For those without Italian, support and instruction will be made available.
If English is not your first language we require you to meet the following English language requirements: Direct Entry: IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.5 in writing, and 5.5 in all other sub-skills).
