Ranganathan Engineering College (REC), Coimbatore was established in the year 2007 for providing quality technical education to the young minds of the state. It is run by Ranganathan Institutions along with two other Educational Institutions and it is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE. The adorable campus is located in Thondamuthur, just 7 kms from the heart of the city.

REC contributes to the higher education scenario in India by offering 6 under graduate programmes and 4 post graduate programmes in Engineering and Technology , passionately mentored by 160 dedicated faculty members.It has full-fledged infrastructure furnished in all aspects with a world-class library as the highlight.

The college has also carved a niche for research and development and regularly organizes workshops, conferences, seminars and symposiums for the benefit of staff and students.
