Located in Periyar University Constituent College of Arts and Science was started at Pappireddipatty in Dharmapuri District under G.O.No.169 dated 22.07.2011 and offers FIVE UG Programmes from the Academic year 2011-12. The College is mainly meant for rural students. Now the total strength is 243 ., Periyar University College of Arts and Science, Pappireddipatti was started by Government of Tamil Nadu by GO (Perm) No: 169, 2011. It is a constituent college of Periyar University and affiliated on 22.07.2011. The College is located a kilometer away from Pappireddipatti bus stand and the college has 6.21 acres of land, which is situated around a beautiful landscape that is right under the Shevaroys Hills. The new building with its excellent infrastructure and expert scholarly faculty members happens to be the highlight of the college., The College offers six disciplines for under graduate level such as Tamil, English, Commerce, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics.
