Initially only Diploma course was started and subsequently graduate, postgraduate courses and doctoral courses were added. The mission statement of the institution was redefined in the year 1990 and it was decided that the institution would strive hard to have a fully equipped Postgraduate studies and Research centre. Today the college is one of the largest postgraduate and research institutions in the country, imparting quality pharmaceutical education at graduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The college has been successful in maintaining high level of research activity recognized at the national and international levels.
