With the aim of bringing quality Technical Education to the rural and downtrodden youth of Ramanathapuram District, they established this college with Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering & Electronics and Communication Engineering in the year 1997 with an intake of 120 in first year. The college is now offering Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, EEE, ECE and Computer Engineering with an intake of 390 in first year.
