SRINIVASA POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE founded by SRI MARIAMMAN EDUCATIONAL HEALTH AND CHARITABLE TRUST , Trichy , was started in the year 1985 with the main objective of extending the wings of Engineering education among the youth.

The Institution is well equipped with a unique brigade of young, talented and well-qualified faculty members to provide technical education and to motivate the students to high level of academic achievements in the Board Examinations and the other Co-curricular activities. The library contains a vast collection of books, magazines and journals and daily newspapers. There are about 10,000 volumes of books available for all staff and students. It maintains separate collections of Reference Books, Standards, and Bound volumes of journals, Technical Reports, Thesis, Video Cassettes and Compact Discs. Our College has a full fledged dispensary functioning from morning to evening. This dispensary is headed by the Dr.S.Karthickeyan M.B.B.S., More than 200 students and 25 staff members are benefited by this facility per month. The college is spending about Rs. 2 lakhs per annum towards medicine and maintenance.
