MLRITM got permanent affiliation from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad JNTUH and the college is also recognized by Scientific and Industrial Research Organization SIRO for receiving central excise import duty concessions towards the purchase of laboratory equipment from foreign countries., The Faculty are nationally and internationally recognised for its portfolio of high quality education applied & theoretical research and rigorous analytics that prepare the students for global leadership positions. Research centers in the college use latest software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, Pro/E, CFD, ANSYS, MATLAB, PSCAD/EMCAD, Cadence VHDL, IBM Rational Rose, Informatica, J2ME and so on., Students not only benefit from excellent teaching and research facilities, but also from strong links with the industry, research establishment and universities worldwide.
