University College of Physical Education was established in the year 1993, with a view to impart instruction in Physical Education leading to the award of ‘MASTER DEGREE IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION’ (M.P.Ed).During the initial years (i.e. 1993 and 1994) the College was housed in the second floor of P.G. College of Law (Evening) situated in the premises of Nizam College. In 1995, the College was shifted to the Old Principal’s Lodge, a separate building in Nizam College premises and the college has functioned till January 2001, the Vice-Chancellor was kind enough to allot the building of Nizamia Observatory situated near ASRC, at Campus.
