Located in A Mechanical Engineer from Manipal Institute of Technology, Sri Manmohan Reddy conceived the idea of an engineering college with the sole aim of producing first-rate engineers for society. Teaming up with a group of philanthropists he founded 'Mahanagar Co-operative Urban Bank' and has been successfully managing it for the last seven years. His engineering education coupled with managerial ability has given him a unique opportunity to shape up Vardhaman Engineering College as one of the premier institutions in the State., Established in 1999, Vardhaman College of Engineering is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.VCE enjoys geographical advantage as it is well connected by air, rail and road. The Hyderabad international airport at Shamshabad is just a 30 minute drive, and the college campus is close to Bangalore highway (NH-7) making it accessible to several important centers in and around the city. A ten-minute drive from the college campus reaches out to the outer ring road that connects Shamshabad airport to city., Vardhaman Educational Society was established in the year 1998 and is the first engineering college which was applied by Jain to fulfil the needs of their community in particular.Vardhaman Educational Society was established in the year 1998 and is registered with Govt. of Andhra Pradesh under AP Societies Act with registration NO. 3494/98. In a scenario of mushroom growth of professional institutions, VES is the brain child of accomplished people who believe that "a good life is one that is inspired by love and guided by knowledge"., The society is established for professional and Scientific Education in order to give a boost to the morale in the younger generation of all Castes, Creeds and Colour in general. This is the first engineering college which was applied by Jains to fulfil the needs and aspirations of Jain community in particular. In addition the society proposes to start school, junior college, Management Institutions, Medical College etc in the years to come.
