Master of Veterinary Science is a two year full time post graduate course offered in various subjects of specialization namely Livestock Production Management, Livestock Products Technology, Animal Reproduction and Gynecology, Veterinary Public Health, Animal Genetics and Breeding, Veterinary Pharmacology, Veterinary Pathology, Animal Husbandry Extension, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Biochemistry, Poultry Science, Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Biotechnology, Veterinary Surgery, Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary Anatomy and Veterinary Parasitology. The students enrolled for MVSc have to take a course work comprising of 40 credits and Research work comprising of 20 credits and submit the dissertation on his research which will be evaluated by an external examiner. BVSc & AH is a prerequisite for MVSc. Selection is based on the Academic record of BVSc (50%) plus marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the University (50%).
