Eligibility Criteria

| M.Des (Master of Design) | Minimum 50% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary Level (X & XII). Minimum 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Engineering/Architecture/ Interior Design: 10+2+4 years (minimum four-year bachelor’s course) OR 2 years M.Sc./MTech in Computer Science and Engineering. IT Subjects / Domains (Only for Interaction Design) or equivalent. |

Non-Exam Pathway
B.Des.: National Level Test (NID/NIFT/UCEED/JEE/CUET)/ Board merit (Minimum 60% in 10th & 12th )
**Cut-off Rank/Percentile for all National Level Exam will be declared post exams in AY-2024.
M.Des.: Candidates having valid CEED-2024 scores will be exempted from UPESDAT Exam.
Fellowship in M. Des Program
Teaching Assistance ship up to Rs. 3000/- is available for students pursuing M. Des Program.
Eligibility Criteria for Fellowship for M.Des Students
- Minimum SGPA / CGPA 8.5 in the first Semester and subsequent semesters/ year.
- Passed every semester on the first attempt without any supplementary or improvement exam.
- Minimum of 75% attendance in the entire semester.
- No disciplinary action was initiated/ awarded against the student.
- Exemplary behaviour and compliance with all other norms as prescribed by the University.
- Such students must not be getting any kind of financial assistance/support e.g., fellowship/scholarship/fee waiver etc. from any other source public or private.
Exam Process
- Take a Demo Test. Students are recommended to take a demo test to gain practice and resolve any queries before the actual examination.
B.Des. Click here | M.Des. Click here - Login credentials for online exam. Actual credentials (passkey) to appear for the exam on the chosen date will be provided to students one day prior to the exam on registered email ID and mobile number. This should not be confused with the demo link passkey.
- The examination Test window will be from 10 am to 1 pm.
Students can log in during the given timeframe and begin with the online test. The timer starts when the student logs in. - Interviews to follow exam and slot booking
Selection Criteria
B.Des.:UPESDAT/ National Level Test (NID/NIFT/UCEED/JEE) / Board Merit/ CUET followed by Portfolio Presentation & Interview.
UCEED air rank cut off: 4837
M.Des.: UPESDAT/ National Level (Valid CEED Score) followed by Portfolio Presentation & Interview.
CEED air rank cut off: 2003

Admit Card / Hall Ticket
Admit card download from university website.
The candidate should also download hall ticket from University official website.
The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.
The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without it, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
