Located in In the year 1957 the long cherished dream of the people of Modinagar was realized when Modi family founded the college in memory of Rai Bahadur Multanimal Modi who was a renowned philanthropist and educationist., The college began with a meager number of hundred students in the three streams of Arts, Commerce and Science but gradually the number swelled up coming to around three thousand. In addition to the B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., B.B.A., B.C.A., B.P.E.S., B.Lib.I.Sc., M.Lib.I.Sc., M.Sc., (Bio Technology) the College also provides adequate research facilities in the subjects of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, Statistics, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Economics, Sanskrit & Commerce., At present, under the able guidance and supervision of our honorable chairman Dr. D.K. Modi, the college is making upward strikes towards progress., Multanimal Modi College has a long-standing reputation in the field of education. It has produced many scientists, academicians, bureaucrats, doctors etc in the past.
