Located in Amity School of Engineering & Technology (ASET), an institution of the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF), affiliated to the GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi, is the first institution to qualify for running the B.Tech Programme. Established in 1999, ASET is in its fourth year of operation and the first batch of 255 students will pas out in 2003. The institution is a part of the Amity University under the Ritnand-Balved Educational Foundation. It is a philanthropic educational society, and is set to emerge as a high quality landmark in the technical education domain., The Amity School of Engineering aims at imparting world class technical education in the country. Besides that, the institute has covered the land area of the 60 acre campus of Amity University, Noida and according to a survey by the Times of India newspaper, the school has been ranked at no. 4 in north India., Amity School of Engineering & Technology is committed to grooming leaders who are not only thorough professionals but also good human beings. Our faculty and senior team travel all over the globe to learn and imbibe the best practices so as to enable us to provide solid foundation for learning. The purpose is to initiate continuous interaction with the industry, sharing the industry experiences, understanding industry needs and providing the required support to the corporate world, as well as opportunities to students to work in alliance with Industry., The Challenges are there for socio-economic upliftment of the Indian masses, defense requirements of the country, exploration of nature on Earth and in space and creation of new resources of energy etc. I am convinced that these and other challenges can be met through propagation of world-class quality education in Engineering and Technology in Amity School of Engineering & Technology (ASET)., I have set for myself a target to provide total education to my students, from primary to higher / professional education in all areas like engineering and technology, law, business management etc., through the institutions of foundation so that my students, AMITIANS, may excel in their profession, and achieve their goals and have a joyful and contented life. this would lead to serving the nation and the humanity., In our country, we have immense talent. All that is required is to guide and bring out the best of it through quality and need-based education. This I have planned through the institutions of RBEF.
