Located in Ishan Institute of Management & Technology was established in 1994 by 'Ishan Educational Research Society' in Delhi, with the main objective of developing a centre for excellence in management & computer sciences. The first session of the Institute was inaugurated by Hon'ble Sh. Santosh Mohan Dev, the then Minister of Steel, Govt. of India, under the Presidentship of Sh. Laeta Umbrey, M.R (Lok Sabha). In a short period of time the Institute has built an impressive campus together with separate hostels for boys and girls, a playground and a Gym for them. The campus was inaugurated by Shri P. A. Sangma, then Hon'ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha in 1996. Since then the Institute have the priveledge of visits of several high profile dignitaries like H.E. Shri Suraj Bhan. Governor of U.P. Shri HE Bhai Mahavir, Governor of M.P., Shri K.C. Pant, Vice Chairman,Planning Commission, Govt. of India., Shri Yashwant Sinha, Prof. M.G.K. Menon, H.E.
