Located in Surendra Institute of Engineering and Management is run by Bidya Bharati Foundation. It is a charitable society dedicated to the cause of spreading quality education in North Bengal and owned by the “Agarwals” of Patna. Late Surendra Agarwal, a self made businessman and popularly known as the “Iron King of Patna”, was also a visionary who cherished the dream of bringing quality education to the city of Siliguri. SIEM is the second venture of this charitable society, the first being Delhi Public School, Siliguri that was started under the dynamic eadership and guidance of Late Surendra Agarwal six years ago in the year 2003. Within six years, this school has transformed into a full fledged educational institute of repute with a students’ strength of 3500. Following his footprints, members of his family who were committed to the task of fulfilling the noble mission already started, planned to make significant contribution in the field of technical education in North Bengal by establishing an engineering and management institute of its kind., SIEM (Surendra Institute of Engineering & Management) is a world class Engineering Institution providing B.Tech Course in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering. It is situated in Siliguri, District Darjeeling, West Bengal., The college is recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). Under the aegis of the charitable society, Bidya Bharti Foundation, SIEM started its journey in August 2009 and it is dedicated to provide quality education in the field of Engineering and Management in North Bengal., SIEM is in its tenth year of operation and within these ten years it has become an organization with a strength of 1500 young and energetic students along with dynamic, competent and qualified teaching and non-teaching work force, working together towards a better future with higher academic and professional development of its students., Our Mission, Earnestly strive to provide the best educational opportunities through quality education in engineering and technology to aspiring youth.
