AIMS (the conducting body) does not mandate sectional cutoffs for the ATMA exam. However, top-tier MBA colleges like PUMBA or SIMSREE may implement their own sectional cutoffs during the shortlisting phase. This means that even with a high overall percentile, a very low score in one area (e.g., Quantitative Skills) might disqualify you from certain elite institutes. Students are advised to maintain a balanced score across all six sections to be safe.
