The NEET PG score refers to the actual marks obtained by a candidate out of the total 800 marks in the exam. On the other hand, the percentile represents the relative ranking of the candidate among all test-takers. For instance, two candidates may have different scores but similar percentiles depending on the distribution of marks across all candidates. While the score shows the number of marks obtained, the percentile determines whether a candidate qualifies for the exam since the cutoff is based on percentile rather than raw marks.
