Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. The minimum age is 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year.

General category students need 50% aggregate marks in PCB, while SC/ST/OBC candidates need 40%. There is no upper age limit.
