The stray vacancy round is the final stage of the NEET PG counselling process. It is conducted to fill any remaining seats after the mop-up round. For All India Quota seats in deemed universities and central institutions, this round may be conducted by MCC, while private colleges may conduct institutional-level counselling under guidelines issued by authorities. Candidates who do not hold any seat after previous rounds may participate in the stray vacancy round, subject to the counselling rules.
