Current Examination Schedule (January – May 2026)

Bangalore University has issued several key notifications regarding the winter assessment cycle and the commencement of even semester classes:

• UG Odd Semester (I, III, V, VII) NEP Exams: The main theory examinations for undergraduate courses (BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA) under the NEP and SEP schemes are ongoing through January 2026. Some revised schedules for specific subjects have been extended into the first week of February.
• PG Semester I & III (Regular & Repeaters): Theory examinations for MA, MSc, and MCom (all faculties except MBA, MCA, M.Ed) are scheduled to be held in January/February 2026. The fee payment window closed in early January.
• B.Ed & M.Ed Programs: The university has notified that 2nd and 4th Semester B.Ed examinations will take place in January 2026, with the academic calendar for the 2025-27 batch already in effect.
• Even Semester Commencement: Classes for the even semesters (II, IV, VI, VIII) are tentatively scheduled to begin in the last week of February 2026, following the conclusion of odd semester valuations.
• Distance Education (DDE): Non-semester and MBA distance exams for the December 2025 session are currently active or being concluded in late January.
