The hands on experience in the department of Radiology from day one onwards will enable the student to understand the nature of the illness beginning with routine imaging to CT and MRI scans. The students will receive excellent and exhaustive training in these fields to be able to assist senior radiologists.
Radiology is the branch or specialty of Medicine that deals with the study and application of Imaging Technology like x-ray and Radiation to Diagnosing and treating diseases. Radiology Technologists are Health Care Professional who perform diagnostic Imaging Procedures and are responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality diagnostic image is produced. Radiology Technicians produce clear and accurate images of the body that enable physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions that would otherwise be difficult to document. Radiology Technicians operate sophisticated equipment that includes X-ray, Mammography, and Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT) and Position Emission Tomography (PET) scan devices.
