Bachelor of Technology (BTech Electronic Instrumentation & Control Engineering)

The B.Tech course in Electronics Instrumentation & Control Engineering deals with mainly Electronics subjects, Control system subjects and Instrumentation subjects. The department has well equipped laboratories in the areas of Instrumentation, Process Control, Control systems, PIC Micro controllers, Micro processors & Microcontrollers, Soft computing, Space Engineering etc. The major equipments in the department are SCADA, Control valves, Calibration equipments, PLC, Magnetic Levitation System, Ball and Beam System, Twin Rotor System, Multi Process Trainer etc. Instrumentation includes measurement, monitoring and control of a process or system. The aim of the department is to produce graduate engineers capable of handling design, construction, and maintenance of modern instrumentation systems, thereby improving system productivity, reliability, safety optimization and stability. The scope of instrumentation engineering is vast, and appears to be growing, mainly due to the increased use of automatic control in manufacturing, production and other industrial fields.
