Master of Science (MSc Nursing)

Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc Nursing), is a two years Postgraduate professional Nursing course in India. The master’s study is designed to deals with health care, The aim of the advance nursing program is to prepare nurses who are able to function efficiently and effectively. The professional study develops the abilities and quality in candidates like Adaptability, Flexibility, Empathy, Organizational Time Management, Leadership quality and ability to conduct research. Nursing is a healthcare profession focused on the nurses that how to work in a large variety of specialties where they work independently and also work in a team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate health care and handling Patients. The course is suitable for those candidates interested in serving mankind and there is a hike need of nurses due to the fast expansion of health-related industries, new hospitals and multi-specialty hospitals coming up rapidly and always in the need of the specialized nurse. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of specialized master’s subjects Like Advanced Clinical Nursing Including Pathophysiology, Nursing Education, Social Psychology, Nursing research and Statistics, Nursing Specialties, Medical Surgical Nursing, Obstetrical Gynecological Nursing and Midwifery, Community Health Nursing, and also Nursing Management.

Eligibility

The candidate who have completed Bachelor Degree, such as Bachelor of Science in Nursing, (B.Sc Nursing), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), with additional subjects like, zoology, Chemistry, Biology,and English, minimum 50% or an Equivalent Examination, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master's professional nursing study program.

Course Duration & Learning Mode

The master’s nursing study requires 2 years of time period with internship in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course. The course is not available for part-time and under distance education mode as it's a practical based study.
