Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya conducts Research Entrance Test (RET) every year for Ph.D courses.

Maximum Marks of Examination: 100 Marks
Duration of Examination: 2 hrs
Mode: Objective / multiple - choice type questions

The Qualifying Percentage of Marks would be 50%. However, for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/SW candidates minimum qualifying percentage of marks shall be 45%.

Important Points

  • The question paper shall contain100 questions from the syllabus of concerned subject and each question shallcarry one mark.
  • Normally ten questions should be set from each unit of the prescribed syllabus of the concerned subject.
  • No scrutiny / re-evaluation of the answer books of the written test shall be allowed in any case.
  • There shall not be any negative marking

Admission to the Ph.D. programme in each subject shall be made after qualifying the RET against the available
seats in the concerned subject.
