Muzaffar Ahmed Mahavidyalaya, a co-educational institution established in 1986 (5th August, 1986) is situated at Bharatpur-II Panchayat Samity at Salar at a stone-throw distance from Salar Railway Station in the district of Murshidabad amid scenic beauties and open atmosphere. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College was established in 1973 at a Village Betai under P.D. (now Sub-Division) Tehatta, District Nadia in West Bengal. Though once a very backward border-village full of jungles infested with wild animals, Betai made a place in the educational map of India with the inception of this Degree College named after Dr. B.
