Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala (IFTK), Kollam invites applications for admissions to Bachelor of Design (B.Des) Fashion Design for the academic year 2016- 17.

Bachelor of Design (B.Des) Fashion Design admission is conducted by Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala (IFTK), Kollam.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
Candidates for admission to the Bachelor of Design Degree Course (B.Des) – Fashion Design shall be required to have passed (any one of below)
- Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala
- 12th standard V.H.S.E, C.B.S.E, I.C.S.E
- Any other exam accepted by the University as equivalent to and obtaining not less than 50% marks in aggregate
- Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Education, Kerala
- An examination recognized as equivalent thereto after undergoing an institutional course of at least three years securing a minimum of 50% marks in the final diploma exam
- International Baccalaueate Diploma, after ten years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate, subject to the usual concessions allowed for backward and other communities as specified from time to time
- All Admissions to Bachelor of Design Degree course (B.Des) – Fashion Design shall be subject to passing of an Aptitude Test conducted by IFTK

Application Procedure:

Application form can be downloaded from official website of Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala (IFTK), Kollam: www.iftk.ac.in
- If the prospectus is downloaded from the website, application should be submitted along with the DD of Rs.300/-

- Prospectus along with the Application Form can be obtained from the office of Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala, Vellimon West, Kollam on payment of Rs.300/- by DD in favour of “Principal, Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala“

- Submission of Application Form: Application Form complete in all respects along with a Demand Draft for Rs.1200/- (Rs.1500/- if downloaded from website) drawn in the favour of “Principal, Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala” payable at Kollam should be sent to the following address so as to reach the office on or before 31st May 2016.

Fee Details:

Fee structure for B.Des Fashion Design Academic Fees

Tuition Fees Rs. 40000/- per Semester

Library Fees – Rs 2000/- per Semester

Student Development Fees – Rs.1000/- per Semester

Graduation Show Fund Rs.2000/- per Semester

Total Rs 45,000/- per Semester

*50% of tuition fees + security deposit (refundable) will be refunded to the candidates who withdraw their candidature before commencement of course

B.Des Fashion Design Important dates section aims to list all important dates such as date of availability of form, last submission date, result date, counselling date, etc.

• Online registration starts: 25th February, 2016
• Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 31st May 2016
• Date of Examination B.Des Fashion Design 2016: 01st week of June 2016
• Commencement of Classes: 03rd Week of June 2016
